1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the MarryIQ website, platform, tools, assessments, or any related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

MarryIQ reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or through the platform. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use MarryIQ. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. MarryIQ is intended for use by individuals and couples who wish to assess and improve their relationship. Use of the Service for any unlawful purpose is prohibited.

3. Account Registration and Security

To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify MarryIQ immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

MarryIQ reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, contain false information, or are used in a manner that harms the platform or its users.

4. Description of Service

MarryIQ provides a marriage intelligence platform that includes structured relationship assessments, intelligence scoring, trajectory modeling, improvement recommendations, interactive tools, and related content. The Service is designed to provide informational and educational insights about relationship dynamics.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

MarryIQ offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) as described on the Pricing page. By subscribing, you authorize MarryIQ to charge your selected payment method at the applicable rate.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing cycle
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• Refunds are available within 14 days of an initial subscription purchase if no assessment has been completed
• Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance

6. Your Data and Privacy

Your privacy is fundamental to how MarryIQ operates. All personal and relationship data you provide is governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Key commitments include:

• Your data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3)
• We never sell, share, or provide your personal data to third parties
• You can export or permanently delete your data at any time
• You retain full ownership of all data you provide to MarryIQ

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, algorithms, scoring methodologies, trajectory models, text, graphics, software, and other materials on MarryIQ are the exclusive property of MarryIQ or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any MarryIQ content without prior written permission.

Your assessment responses and personal data remain your property. MarryIQ claims no ownership over the information you input into the platform.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use MarryIQ to:

• Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm another person, including your partner
• Use assessment results to manipulate, coerce, or psychologically harm others
• Create accounts using false or misleading information
• Attempt to access another user’s account or data without authorization
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
• Distribute malware, spam, or any harmful content through the platform

Violation of these guidelines may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

MarryIQ provides the Service on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

MarryIQ does not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure
• Assessment results, scores, or trajectory projections will be perfectly accurate
• The Service will produce any specific outcome in your relationship

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MarryIQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, emotional distress, or relationship outcomes influenced by information provided through the platform.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MarryIQ, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us through the Contact page or through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request full data deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.

MarryIQ may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking action, except where immediate action is necessary to protect the platform or its users.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
